Print formats: A6, A5, A4, DL and cards
The exact dimensions of common formats and what each is used for.

A-series formats derive from one another: each is half the one before. An A4 folded in two gives an A5, an A5 folded in two gives an A6.

Finished size and working size
The finished size is the size of the piece once cut. Your file must be 3 mm larger on every side: that is the bleed. An A5 flyer is therefore prepared at 15.4 × 21.6 cm.
